Privacy Policy

This privacy policy explains in a neutral way how personal data may be processed when using DraftMyDays. Its structure follows the transparency logic of Articles 13 and 14 GDPR.

2. Purposes and legal bases

When the website is visited, technically necessary processing may occur for delivery of the website, system security, routing, and error analysis. The legal basis is generally Article 6(1)(f) GDPR where a legitimate interest in secure and stable operation exists.

When the career assistant is used, submitted text inputs may be processed in order to generate matching career suggestions. The legal basis may be Article 6(1)(b) GDPR or Article 6(1)(f) GDPR where processing is required to provide the explicitly requested service.

3. Categories of processed data

Processed data may include connection and usage data such as IP address, timestamps, requested pages, device and browser information, and security-related log entries.

When the career assistant is used, free-text inputs, selected prompt helpers, and related request metadata may also be processed.

4. Hosting and technical providers

The website is provided through technical hosting infrastructure. In that context, server-side log data may be processed where necessary for operation, security, and error analysis.

An external AI service is used to process free-text inputs in the career assistant. Entered content may be transmitted for that purpose where technically required to provide the requested functionality.

5. Recipients or categories of recipients

Recipients may include hosting and infrastructure providers, technical processors, and the AI service used for the career assistant.

Additional disclosure only takes place where legally required or where it appears necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

6. Storage period

Personal data is generally stored only for as long as necessary for the relevant purposes.

Server and security logs may be retained for a limited period where needed for operational security, abuse detection, or technical troubleshooting.

7. Cookies, local storage, and technically required device access

Where information is stored on a device or access to device information occurs, this is limited to what is technically necessary for the explicitly requested digital service.

Based on the current technical setup, no separate consent banner for non-essential tracking or marketing cookies is implemented. If the technical setup changes, the information should be updated accordingly.

8. Data subject rights

Subject to the statutory requirements, data subjects may have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection.

Requests regarding privacy rights may be sent to markus.stadi@feature-engine.com. There is also a right to lodge a complaint with a competent supervisory authority.

9. Obligation to provide data

Technical access data is generally required to load the website. Use of the career assistant naturally requires a text input to generate a response.

There is no legal obligation to provide free-text input. Submission is voluntary if the relevant feature is used.

10. Automated decisions

The platform displays automated career suggestions and profile comparisons for orientation purposes.

No solely automated decision with legal effect or similarly significant effect within the meaning of Article 22 GDPR is intended.
